The Wollongong-Illawarra Choir / Vocal Ensemble runs weekly in West Wollongong every Thursday night 7:30pm-8:30pm – within each NSW school term. It is open to anyone, ages 17 and up. Any level of experience is welcome. It is only $10 for your first visit, and only $5 thereafter billed for the remainder of the current term (1 to 11 weeks). Term 3 Little tigers TKD starts on this day at 4 pm at Brookvale Dojang , these classes are designed for 5-10 year olds , discounts for families , parents more than welcome to join in on Parents and kids classes scheduled for Friday afternoons 5-6 pm and Saturday mornings 9 -10 am.

This 9-week Teen Acting Course is aimed at aspiring actors from 10-16 years who desire a professional career in the entertainment industry. Dubbed 'the technique that works'; young actors will be taught an organic, step-by-step approach to acting called 'Meisner Technique'. We offer a variety of fun CreativiTea Parties held at our Creative Learning Centre in Kirrawee, Sydney. For example our "Signature Styling Package": * Upon arriving at Free Range Living, the youngsters delight in our vintage styled High Tea set up, and enjoy their morning or afternoon tea of sweet treats displayed on tiered plate stands, juice served in tea pots with tea cups and saucers. Sweets Station Styling Package ~ suitable for all ages. Calling all ice cream sundae lovers! At our Sweets Station CreativiTea Parties, tables are set up ready to get the creative project underway. Each child’s place is set up with a mason jar with lid and straw, filled with low-joule cordial, and a melamine bowl for a crunch and sip style service during creative project making. The Sweets Station consists of a variety of lollies and sweet treats displayed in glass jars. The display will be set up from commencement of the party, though not accessed until the dedicated time after the creative projects are complete. Each child is then provided with a parfait glass or melamine bowl (for younger kids), for their yummy ice cream sundaes, created at our Sweets Station. Advanced Youth Drama (10-17yrs) The advanced Acting course for teens, is specifically designed for those that have a passion, drive & an enthusiasm for Acting. The course is only open to those with previous experience, and all students must pass through the audition process to gain a place in this course. Auditions are held twice a year. All students must attend 80% of all classes and be prepared to make a two-term commitment. Please take time to consider your own circumstances carefully before auditioning for the course. This class is recognition of talent and dedication by the participants, but cannot be taken as a stand-alone class. All participants must make a commitment to Point Break Drama, and agree to continue in at least one other Youth acting class, at Point Break Drama to qualify. Please note the course fee includes a second course ( to be selected). This high energy ten-week Acting course is designed specifically for Teenagers, & offers participants the opportunity to explore the different aspects of Acting & improvisation in a fun & spontaneous environment. Teens will learn basic Stanislavski acting technique, giving participants a myriad of acting & presentation skills. The course will cover: Improvisation Games Voice & Movement Stage Craft- How to use the stage more effectively. Definition of Acting - What is Acting? Acting Technique- How to affect and bring about a change in the other actor. Basic Script Analysis/Breakdown Introduction to Acting Terminology Use of acting principles- making acting choices specific to the requirements of the text. This course will develop acting, improvisation and audition techniques for the camera, whilst giving youth (11-17yrs) a grounding in basic acting techniques. Teens will be taught a step by step audition process, and how to conduct themselves professionally at castings.
