Quick graphite illustration with the theme chase/escape, titled 'The Streaker' I'm sure all parents can sympathise... When their little angel wriggles out of their grasp to take a nudie run, giggling mischievously like it's the funniest thing in the world! - -

To conclude my residence at Saltwater Community Centre Point Cook in 2016, last Friday I participated in the exhibition 'Point Cook Unknown'. Where stories and creative reflections on the many landscapes and human experiences of Point Cook were presented through large screen projection, interview, music and reflection. The coloured pencil artworks I completed encapsulated an environment in transition: wide open spaces with discarded equipment and rubbish, traces of the present, that will disappear as the region continues to develop. I hope I'm getting better at speaking publicly about my art, feeling more comfortable... and I never thought I'd see my artworks on a screen that large!
