Let the kids get creative on their birthday and become little Picasso's with Canvas Painting with Acrylics. In a three hour step by step guided instructions from a pre selected painting we will guide them with the confidence to recreate a beautiful painting all whilst having a great time, singing along to their favorite tunes and letting their brush do all the work. We provide pizza (from Pizza hut) and drinks, all you bring is a cake and lolly bags if you wish. Minimum number is 12 children and maximum number is 18. Minimum age is 6 years old. This is a drop off and pick up party, however parents of the party child are welcome to stay.
Cost is all inclusive of Canvases, paints needed, Aprons provided, food and drinks

Parties are available on Saturdays from 2 pm to 5 pm.
Bookings are essential so call us for availability and a holding deposit of $50 to keep your date.

This class is for Adults
Our Introduction Class is a 1 off 3 hours class that is all inclusive.
Have you admired hand painted ceramics and wanted to create your own masterpieces.
Well wait no longer, grab a friend for a further discount on this class.
We provide you with a dinner size plate or its equivalent and you can bring your own designs or we can help you with many ideas and templates to draw and paint your own masterpieces you can use.Guidance will be given as no painting or drawing experience is needed. All paints and firing included, leave your pieces with us to fire and glaze , and 12-14 days later these can be collected from the studio .
In our 3 hour class you will be guided through a few techniques need to give you the confidence to create and paint.Once you have your pieces these can then be put into the dishwasher and microwave. All our pieces are functional.
Classes run on:
Tuesday, Wednesday Thursday and Saturday 10.30am to 1.30pm.
we also have a Wednesday evening class 6.45pm to 9.45pm.

The introduction class is $50 for a dinner size plate or its equivalent to the cost of the dinner plate.
If you would like a larger plate or other pieces such as bowls , platters or many other pieces on our shelves , then you will pay the difference to the greenware and firing costs.

Your Child must be 6 yrs and over.
If your child has a love for drawing and painting then this course is perfect for them.
They will learn to draw , then paint their masterpieces with guidance all the way using mediums such as watercolors, acrylics, oil and chalk pastels. They will learn to use different brushes and techniques used to create different textures.
These are NOT Craft classes where they will do as they want, we will teach your children with fun structured classes and amazing results.
Your kids will experiment with a range of Art materials and Art processes to develop skills in drawing and painting and will always be supported in their originality and self expression. In the course we will explore themes in art
such as STILL LIFE, LANDSCAPE and Portraiture using acrylics, watercolour, pastels and mixed media in their art journals and on canvas.
all materials are covered in the costs , no more to spend.
Children need to be 6yrs and over.

At Tennyson Studio we let the children design and create whatever they desire on their pieces. We just help them get inspired. All pieces can go into the dishwasher,the microwave and Into the oven.
We at Tennyson Studio are unique as we create a fun and Creative Party within a ceramic painting party, we have a karaoke that kids can use for music after our painting sessions for party games, and yes there is even dancing if time permits.There are 4 packages to choose from for all budgets

If children under 6 yrs old, parent supervision needed : 1 or 2 parents must stay in the studio. All other parents must Drop off.
Parents of the birthday child is more than welcome to stay.

$50 deposit required for a booking this is non refundable but it will come off your total on the day.
Sunday incurs a flat surcharge rate of $35 (this is not a per person rate)
