Great place to train!

01-09-2014 by John Pantaleo

A great way to learn a very effective self defense/martial art in a safe and friendly environment. Rachael is a very qualified and experienced martial artist and teaches in the spirit of "budo". The time I have spent training at White Wolf Dojo, Rachael has helped me grow as a person and a martial artist. Without Rachael I certainly don't believe I would be the martial artist I am today and I look forward to continuing my training into the future at White Wolf Dojo.

White Wolf Dojo

I enrolled our 8 year old into White Wolf Dojo (WWD) after experiencing another local martial arts school and we wanted a more well rounded and grounded dojo to teach our child not only the physical aspects of a martial art, but the philosophical facets also. WWD is consistent in their teachings, whether it be from the hands-on Sensei Rachael or her senior student assistants. As our child progresses through the levels of his martial arts, so too has WWD set up the support networks for our son as he transitions from boyhood to manhood. Our children need healthy role models who they can learn from, look up to, and aspire to be. I highly recommend White Wolf Dojo to any child who wants to learn a new life skill in a fun and nurturing environment.

The kids have fun learning.

Rachael's classes great. The kids are so busy having fun, they don't realise how much they are actually learning. Highly recommend.

Mother of 6 year olds

07-04-2014 by Linda Martin

My 6 year old twins have been attending these classes for nearly 12 months and love them. Rachel Sensei and the team are skilled, passionate about what they do, caring and engaged with the children. Classes are small to allow individual attention. Aside from the skills, the children are taught personal values such as respect, self control and determination to succeed. It is priceless seeing their little faces when they pass a belt grading. i would highly recommend these classes to any new parent.

Great for girls

Our three daughters have been members of White Wolf Dojo since its inception. We love the focus on values such as respect for self and others, a positive attitude, responsibility and doing one's best, which are discussed at each lesson. Sensei Rachael is fantastic with the kids as are the other helpers. The regular gradings give the kids a sense of pride in their progress. We highly recommend White Wolf Dojo!

I've trained with Rachael on and off for over 8 years. I've seen her teach all sorts of children of various ages. She has a unique blend of patience, presence and experience that helps her get the best from groups of kids both little ones and those bigger.

Great with Kids

Rachael's dojo is highly energetic and lots of fun for kids. With the help of Joe and Gretchen the classes are well organised, well run and moves along at a great pace. There is a good balance of emphasis on martial skills appropriate for the age group, and physical games that keep the children amused while at the same time developing their body control skills. My 6-yr old son is usually hesitant at joining new activities but he has really taken to attending White Wolf. I credit this to the excellent positive-reinforcement techniques that Rachael and her team always uses when teaching the kids. Highly recommended (since my son joined, four of his school mates have followed suit!).
