    Great place to train!

    01-09-2014 by John Pantaleo

A great way to learn a very effective self defense/martial art in a safe and friendly environment. Rachael is a very qualified and experienced martial artist and teaches in the spirit of "budo". The time I have spent training at White Wolf Dojo, Rachael has helped me grow as a person and a martial artist. Without Rachael I certainly don't believe I would be the martial artist I am today and I look forward to continuing my training into the future at White Wolf Dojo.

    White Wolf Dojo

    09-04-2014 by Tania

I enrolled our 8 year old into White Wolf Dojo (WWD) after experiencing another local martial arts school and we wanted a more well rounded and grounded dojo to teach our child not only the physical aspects of a martial art, but the philosophical facets also. WWD is consistent in their teachings, whether it be from the hands-on Sensei Rachael or her senior student assistants. As our child progresses through the levels of his martial arts, so too has WWD set up the support networks for our son as he transitions from boyhood to manhood. Our children need healthy role models who they can learn from, look up to, and aspire to be. I highly recommend White Wolf Dojo to any child who wants to learn a new life skill in a fun and nurturing environment.

    The kids have fun learning.

    07-04-2014 by Leigh

Rachael's classes great. The kids are so busy having fun, they don't realise how much they are actually learning. Highly recommend.

    Mother of 6 year olds

    07-04-2014 by Linda Martin

My 6 year old twins have been attending these classes for nearly 12 months and love them. Rachel Sensei and the team are skilled, passionate about what they do, caring and engaged with the children. Classes are small to allow individual attention. Aside from the skills, the children are taught personal values such as respect, self control and determination to succeed. It is priceless seeing their little faces when they pass a belt grading. i would highly recommend these classes to any new parent.

    Great for girls

    07-04-2014 by Georgia

Our three daughters have been members of White Wolf Dojo since its inception. We love the focus on values such as respect for self and others, a positive attitude, responsibility and doing one's best, which are discussed at each lesson. Sensei Rachael is fantastic with the kids as are the other helpers. The regular gradings give the kids a sense of pride in their progress. We highly recommend White Wolf Dojo!

I've trained with Rachael on and off for over 8 years. I've seen her teach all sorts of children of various ages. She has a unique blend of patience, presence and experience that helps her get the best from groups of kids both little ones and those bigger.

    Great with Kids

    07-04-2014 by Direk

Rachael's dojo is highly energetic and lots of fun for kids. With the help of Joe and Gretchen the classes are well organised, well run and moves along at a great pace. There is a good balance of emphasis on martial skills appropriate for the age group, and physical games that keep the children amused while at the same time developing their body control skills. My 6-yr old son is usually hesitant at joining new activities but he has really taken to attending White Wolf. I credit this to the excellent positive-reinforcement techniques that Rachael and her team always uses when teaching the kids. Highly recommended (since my son joined, four of his school mates have followed suit!).

    Prestigious martial arts school.

    11-11-2016 by Jay

Gary Martin Kung fu Centre is a prestigious martial arts school with a long history of training many of the highest ranked martial artists in Australia. The highly sought after classes are attracting people from all over Sydney and as far away as Woolongong and the Blue Mountains. I've been a member for 18 months and recommend it highly.

    Awesome

    07-11-2016 by Marcey

I know there are kids martial arts classes everywhere, but if you're looking for a school to teach late teens/adults real self defence you've got to go to Gary Martin. This school is definitely a step above anywhere else, and I mean a big step better than anywhere else. Gary is an exceptional teacher and it shows in the high standards of the members. Many of the higher graded members in this school are some of the highest ranked in Australia, This is a unique school that teaches martial arts in the traditional (proper) way. My son has been attending Garys classes for 2 years and the positive changes in his attitude is remarkable. He is doing his uni exams at the moment with an enthusiasm and drive he has never had before. I can highly recommend Gary Martin. Excellent for self defence, confidence and self belief.

Practical, high energy self defence training

    05-07-2016 by Dave

I joined Gary Martin Kung fu and recommend it massively. I did kickboxing for 18 months and thought I was a real hot shot until me and my girlfriend were hasled by a group of locals in Bali. I didn't have a clew how to deal with a group or a knife, totally demoralising. I changed over to Kung fu because it deals with these types of threats. Gary is a hard trainer but it's worth it. The other thing I found training with Gary is I feel a lot more mentally dialed in now. More positive. Great school.

    Highly recommended martial arts school.

    15-02-2016 by Jen

My husband and I are huge martial arts fans and with our work postings we have had the privelige of training in many of the worlds most recommended schools. When we returned back to Aus we set about finding a school local we could join and stick with to achieve high ranks. We were both dissapointed to find that a lot of the schools were really fitness/ weight loss sessions being sold as martial arts. If we wanted that we could go to any gym in any suburb. We wanted real martial arts that gave us an interesting and challenging journey of learning. We found all this and more ( including fitness ) at the Gary Martin Kung fu Centre. Absolutely excellent.

    First rate in every aspect.

    27-01-2016 by RS

I looked at quite a few different martial arts schools before joining Gary Martin Kung fu Centre. Very impressed. High standards and excellent tuition methods, Gary is very approachable and showed me his qualifications and lineage when I inquired. He has massive experience, and it shows in the extremely high standards of the students at the school. The school is also Government Accredited.

The top for fitness and self defence.

    23-01-2016 by Adrian.

Excellent martial arts school. Very popular. Really good fitness training combined in the martial arts training, which itself is very practical. Excellent pricing. High standards of tuition. Gary Martin is extremely motivating and inspiring. The classes are very positive. Around excellent.

    Iconic martial arts school

    02-09-2015 by Mitchell

It would be easy to underestimate the huge achievement of Gary Martin to build up and then maintain the biggest most successful martial arts school in Australia over a 36 year period. His dedication must be incredible. I can't talk highly enough of Gary because he helped me turn my life around, as I know he has done for hundreds if not thousands of other people as well. Gary is one of those rare people who has a genuine concern for other people. Everyone raves about his super martial arts abilities and his teaching skills, both of which are true, but it's his love to see people get the most out of their lives I most appreciate about him,

    Exceptional martial arts school

    03-07-2015 by Dennis

My 18 year old daughter asked me to help her find a good martial arts school to train at. She wanted a friendly atmosphere but with self defence skills strong enough to use in an actual situation. This began a journey! After looking at countless web sites, watching numerous classes and sifting through the trash talk of the forums a friend advised we try a well known school in Moorebank, Gary Martin Kung fu Centre. Basically as soon as we walked in the door we both knew this was something different. My daughter joined and all she does is talk about how much she enjoys it and how much she is learning. My advice to anyone thinking of starting martial arts is put this one at the top of the list and save yourself a lot of time looking like we did.

    You won't find better

    14-06-2015 by TW

Wow, this place is awesome. I started training with Gary Martin and I can't believe how much fitter I've become. Gary is one of Australia's most experienced and respected martial arts teachers and it shows. There is a lot of confusion around martial arts and it's important to pick a good school or you could waste time, effort and money finding out if it's any good. Gary Martin Kung fu is Australia's biggest school because people enjoy the training and see value in it and therefore they keep coming back. That's how you can tell it's an excellent school. The martial arts Gary teaches is aimed at training you to be able to defend yourself or your family if ever a real attack occurred. Not all schools cover all that Gary's school does, like knife attacks, iron bar/baseball bat or fighting more than one attacker at the same time. Gary's training covers all this and a lot more. It is excellent and the standards are high.

    Internationally known.

    17-05-2015 by Avaro

Gary Martin Kung fu Centre is well known in Australia and overseas. I first heard of the school when I was living in Los Angeles from room mates who were into martial arts. Then a work associate who lives on Singapore mentioned it. Needless to say as soon as I moved back to Sydney I made enquiries and joined up. It is an excellent martial arts school.
