Burnelee Excursions on Horseback

Burnelee has been a fantastic experience we enjoyed it thoroughly

Great Trail Riding Place

As a beginner we had a great experience at Burnelee and found the leaders looked after us well. The scenery was spectacular better than just plodding around an arena or a paddock going the same way every time.

Worst experience of my life. The horses are dangerous and untrained the owners are not trained to help inexperienced or beginner riders. There is little to no first aid if and when an accident happens. My horse bolted leaving me hospitalised for two nights after. Not even a refund given. 5 mins into the ride the leader expected the whole group to canter with the horses, this is where my partner almost fell off the first time. There is no mention of how to canter on a horse at the start and no instructions at all given before you start. I would not recommend this for non experienced riders or beginners at all.
