Mountains Fencing Club is a not-for-profit community club run entirely by volunteers. Our coaches are AFF accredited, all with up to date WWCC (mandatory for coaching accreditation in Australia) and are also volunteers. Fencing is one of the few sports which requires a strong combination of mental awareness, strategy and fitness. The Penrith Academy of Fencing has been coaching and conducting Fencing competitions for over thirty years. The club draws its members from Western Sydney, South-Western Sydney, the Hawkesbury Region and the Blue Mountains. The club provides training, competition and coaching for both children and adults, from novice through to international competitions.
