Best combination of health, fun, and fitness.

    17-06-2016 by Max

Kin Taekwondo is the best combination of health, fun, and fitness that I've come across. Not only am I fitter and stronger than I've ever been, I have also learned valuable leadership skills which I will carry with me for life. The instructors create a constructive, supportive environment, which gives students confidence to push themselves and learn. Thank you, Kin.

    Kin TKD is great.

    14-06-2016 by Lewis Price

A very progressive martial arts school and training centre in Perth, that teaches traditional and effective tae kwon do. The Instructors are very caring and understanding and always provide teaching and training that is fun, dynamic and a challenge. They are also all very skilled in their own way and provide a very diverse range of skills, not just fighting ability. This is a very family friendly place where kids, teens and adults are welcome. The self defence skills that is taught is realistic and practical and the combat techniques are very sharp and dynamic. I highly recommend Kin Tae Kwon Do to all that want to train hard, improve their fitness and strength or discipline and confidence and just have better health and wellbeing.

    Best thing I've ever done!

    10-06-2016 by Katie S

Kin Taekwondo is the perfect school for all ages and abilities. There is an equal focus on skill and fitness, and excellent balance between self-defence and the traditional martial art. The Instructors take the time to get to know each student and work with them one-on-one when needed, and everyone is pushed to the best of their ability. I'm 20 and have been heavily involved in sport all my life, but I have never been physically or mentally healthier than I am since starting at Kin.

I started Kin Tae Kwon Do with no experience in martial art. I have always been active, however I significantly noticed a change in my physical and mental stamina when I joined. The community, instructors and students respect, include and learn from each other, which is something that is hard to find. As a young adult, I would highly recommend this activity for any and all ages. Whether you want to increase your physical fitness, mental discipline or want to try something new, I strongly suggest Kin Tae Kwon Do.

We just wanted to thank you for all your effort in providing a fun and creative environment in your acting classes. Jack has been awarded Head Boy for 2016 and without a doubt the acting classes have given him confidence and contributed to him achieving this role.

Orienteering is a cross-country navigation sport. Participants use a map and compass to find their way around a marked course, traditionally on foot and in the bush although newer orienteering disciplines involve metropolitan areas, mountain biking or even skiing. Orienteering is a sport for all ages and abilities. All events have a variety of courses ranging from the 1km string course where toddlers can follow a string between checkpoints, to courses of up to 12km of technically difficult cross-country ... Read more navigation. Children, families and groups can enjoy some exercise and a fun outdoor challenge. The best way to find out more about orienteering is to come along to any event! Speak to the friendly volunteers about how to get started, come along to a beginner’s briefing before an event, enjoy yourself in the outdoors and get involved in a fun, healthy activity.

Spooooooky!!! Be very, very careful. It's Spook season! Hyde Park will be overrun with ghosts, goblins and ghouls on Saturday 31 October 2015 for our very first Spooks in the Park, a popular Halloween event in Perth. Follow a map to find lots of ghostly games to play including a Zombie Run, the Dreaded Spiders Web and the Spooky grove. Every spook will take home their very own show bag containing an assortment of spooky things! Starting out from the main Gazebo at Hyde Park this event for 6-12 year olds is all shivery fun! Entry is $5.50 per little monster! To enter click here. So what to expect? Come to the park 10 minutes before your start wave all dressed up for a spooky time in the park. You don't have to dress up but it is more fun that way! Your little monsters, ghouls and ghosts require at least one parent or guardian with them during the days activities. You will all be given a map to help you get from one game to the next. Expect to play some fun games such as Skull Coconut Shy and Monster Mash, there will be a Zombie run as well! For every game you complete you get a special punch on your map. Once you have played each game you can finish and receive your Halloween goody-bag! Please note there is very limited parking near Hyde park. We recommend to take public transport or park in the city and walk in to Hyde Park. Entries are limited to 500, get in quick, don't you miss out! Tickets cost just $5.50 per child. Tickets must be bought in advance if you want your goody bag!

    Mountain Bike Orienteering

    Dates: from 30 Nov -1 to 30 Nov -1

Mountain bike orienteering (MTBO) is a navigation sport suitable for participants of all ages and abilities. Like foot orienteering, the idea is to navigate your way around a series of checkpoints (controls) using a map and compass. Unlike foot orienteering, the idea is to ride a bike! The main difference is that in Australia, mountain bikes have to stay on tracks, so the style of navigation can be quite different to the cross-country navigation used in foot orienteering. Several courses are available, ranging from 10-30 km in length. At the top end of the field, competitors need good technical bike handling skills and the ability to navigate at speed. However, the shorter courses are easily achievable by beginners, non-mountain bikers and families. Nav Dash

    Dates: from 30 Nov -1 to 30 Nov -1

Nav Dash events, Orienteering WA's Sprint Orienteering Series are short distance (2-3.5 km's), usually held in a small, compact area with complex features, such as the buildings and passages of a university campus. While the navigation skills required are relatively easy – even for novices – at a slow jog or walking pace, the more serious competitors try to run their course at high speed. This makes the navigation much more demanding and it is easy to make small mistakes of a few seconds, which makes all the difference in these fast events! There will be several events in the 2015 Nav Dash Series at regular intervals during Autumn and Winter, culminating in the State Sprint Championships later in the year.
