    Formed in 1967, the Southern Peninsula Basketball Association had humble beginnings at the Red Hill Show Grounds. Originally, our association was called the Southern Peninsula Men's Basketball Club.     My twin boys and daughter have played for Raptors for years, and my daughter coaches. They have all learnt so much, not just about playing basketball, but about how to be part of a team. They all love basketball now. Raptors is a great family oriented club. Basketball is a great sport. All indoors and over in an hour and you are up close and can see the action. Give it a try!

    Raptors Basketball Club has been a great experience for my daughter over the past 9 seasons. She has developed her skill base from zero to great and has learned to understand team-ship and responsibility. It's a great balance for the demands placed on her as a student.

    Both my children play for the Raptors. Basketball is great for kids who want to play a non contact sport. The club has a great friendly atmosphere. Best of all, no experience is needed!!! Basketball boosts confidence in kids and promotes team sports.

    My son was never really a sporty kid, We tried AFL and Soccer but none gelled. Then we tried Basketball with the Raptors Basketball Club. He really liked it and it was great that we didn't need experience to join. The weekly training really helped. I like the fact we are indoors!
