    Blacktown Little Athletics Centre is one of the founding centres in NSW and has been providing family, fun and fitness for over 40 years in the Blacktown Area. We compete every Friday night (between September to March), commencing with a first call at 6.20pm at Cornucopia Reserve Glenwood Mission To bring together children and their parents and provide the children with a variety of athletic events in a happy and not overly competitive environment with family involvement.

    SWEAT SYDNEY has running training groups with some of the most experienced and successful coaches in Australia at the helm. We have running training groups for Kids (4-17 years). The Kids Running group is held each Monday, Wednesday and Friday in Centennial Park. Children can attend all three sessions per week, or just one or two sessions if they prefer.     Kid's Running Group in Edithvale

    The Kids Running group is held each Tuesday (4.30pm) and Thursday (4.30pm). Tuesday training is at Memorial Oval (Edithvale Common- next to the Bowling Club), Edithvale Rd, Edithvale. We meet at the car park by the trail. Thursday training is at the running track at Edithvale Recreation Ground, Edithvale Rd, Edithvale. It is for children with any level of speed or fitness. Sessions go for approx. 1 hour. Children can attend one or two sessions per week, whichever they prefer. Children can start at any point in a school term or holidays. The group operates both during school term and holidays. The sessions last for 1 hour. They include warm-up, dynamic and static stretching, form drills, speed development then some form of endurance (cross country, hill circuits and middle distance on measured course). We work on running technique, breathing patterns and race tactics for various events. Fantastic prizes such as water bottles and running gear are presented at EVERY SESSION. It is either a $10 drop in fee for single sessions or $50 a month (lasts one month from when you pay- so if you pay Sept 18 then it lasts until Oct 18). There are two methods of payment. • pay $10 cash PER CHILD at training • OR Please pay $50 per child each month (can pay via website using credit card if you prefer) You don't have to book a spot, but it is best to let me know when you are coming for the first time.

    Great value for money, family bonding,health and fitness not just for the young ones but adults as well. Shame wasn't more availability.
