I have a track record of helping everybody improve, get a better sound, feel more confident as well as increase their range. I hold a Master's Degree in Vocal Pedagogy (the science of how to teach singing). This degree ...

Fairy Feet Dance Club ❤️

Cannot speak highly enough of Miss Laura and Fairy Feet Dance Club! This is the third year my daughter has been attending and she has gotten so much more then just dancing out of Miss Laura's classes! She has learnt listening, waiting her turn, how to behave in a class environment and gained so much self confidence and best of all has loads of fun!

We Love Fairy Feet!

We are so thrilled that Fairy Feet was recommended to us. My daughter ADORES Miss Laura (can't stop talking about her!) and as a parent I am so impressed and grateful for the love, guidance and care she provides to each and every individual student. Best thing about Fairy Feet is that you are always dealing with Miss Laura - no change of teachers every few weeks or inexperienced student teachers taking the class. Just 100% pure love & joy from Miss Laura herself. She's a gem :-)

Amazing

Miss Laura is an amazing teacher, she is nothing short of brilliant with the children - they adore her. Thank you for such a wonderful class and for bringing my little girl out of her shell and for giving us so much joy.

Brilliant

Both my daughters are in love with Miss Laura and her dance classes. Miss Laura presents creative lessons which inspire and motivate her students, as well as entertain the parents/guardians. She integrates the teaching of dance skills with life skills such as sharing and patience..always encouraging her students with smiles and praise.

Just joyful

My daughter is in her 3rd year of dancing at MSF and just loves it. She has tried 3 other dance schools for various lengths of time and while the other dance schools have been nice (also to varying degrees!) as a shy girl she has never been totally comfortable. At MSF she has blossomed. She comes home full of adrenaline and eager to show us bits and pieces of what she's learned (she's 16 - what 16yo still does that??) MSF has that amazing combination of caring, nurturing family feeling, and challenging, energetic and just fun choreography. We love what it has done for our girl.

4 reasons hip hop dancers should take a ballet class

I was a self proclaimed “anti-ballerina”, leotards and tights made me feel self-conscious and I was often heard telling people “I wasn’t built for ballet.” No, I didn’t (and still don’t) have amazing feet or great turn out and I’m not super flexible. Nor do I possess any of the ideal physical traits of your stereotypical ballerina.
But, I have a new mantra now. “Nobody was built for ballet. Ballet was built for us.”
This is a first-hand account explaining exactly how ballet can improve your child's hip hop performance. Read more

Picking the perfect dance school using your 5 senses

Remember that moment when your son or daughter looked up at you with big puppy dog eyes and said "I want to start dancing"? It has been at the forefront of their imagination and nag-ation (that's not really a word but it means constant nagging) and now you're convinced that it's what they really want to do. This article addresses how your five senses can assist in choosing the best dance school for them. Read more
